Ebony Collars

All of our Ebony collars comes in size XXS-L, but if you have a dog that is between two sizes or does not fit any of them, contact us and we will make one for you. We have the opputunity to make the width smaller on some of the colors.

Standard width on these collars are 20mm, this means that the collar may be too heavy for really small dogs.

Slip collars & Martingale collars

Variant 1 "Measure directly on the dog"
These two collar variants are put on and taken off over the head because the they cannot be opened. Therefore we need the measure of the widest part which the collar has to be pulled over. In most cases this is the head at the level of the ears (blue line).

Please measure your dog's head size (blue) AND neck size (green). We then add 1 cm of buffer to the widest indication (usually head circumference) so that it can be put on comfortably. This will be the measure for the slip collar or the martingale collar.

Variant 2 "Measure directly on the collar"
If you have a well-fitting slip or martingale collar, this is the safest measurement option. Since you measure the inner circumference, it does not matter whether it is a leather, Biothane or rope collar.

1.Place the collar on the table in front of you (as if there were no pull on the collar), see picture.
2. Measure the inside circumference of the collar with a tape measure. It is important that the measuring tape is near against the inside of the collar. Please let us know whether you measured on the dog or directly on the collar. Because with the measurement variant on the collar we do not need to add 1 cm of buffer.
